Finally watched the movie ‘Edge of Tomorrow’. In this one you get a “The zoo is effing closed, wild eyed, Jerry Maguire”, Tom Cruise moment. You get a ‘Tom Cruise riding on a motorcycle’ scene. That’s obligatory, right? And yes, you get that trademark Tom Cruise million dollar smile (queue shiny glint bouncing off teeth). Why mess with a formula when it works! Its also running a great premise for a sci-fi/action flick. Ended up ordering the manga novel, ‘All You Need is Kill’, the source material for the film, based on the positive impression the movie had on me. Side note: ‘Live, Die, Repeat’ is an awful title for an awesome flick. B+
